Guiding people to achieve optimal health through movement is my passion. Why do people have pain, mobility and strength limitations, or struggle to lose weight? What can movement do to ease the burden of autoimmune, inflammatory, and progressive diseases? What does each unique individual need to resolve these issues and achieve lifelong wellness? As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, my focus is to resolve answers to these questions as they apply to every unique body. We begin with thorough evaluation where I listen to the history of your concerns including your limitations and goals. I assess your posture, movement, and strength through palpation and special testing to determine cause. And from there, I develop a specific program tailored to your specific goals. My aim is to help you succeed beyond the time you work with me and to assist you in such a way that you do not need my assistance long term, but become independent through our work together. You will learn skills that will help you care for your body for a lifetime. My areas of expertise are wide. I traveled for a large portion of my career. Through that, I have worked in every setting of physical therapy, so that I can effectively apply what I know to people of all ages and abilities. I am a dancer, an athlete, and I have overcome my own challenges around fitness and nutrition. Whether your goal is to relieve jaw, back, neck, shoulder, hip, knee, wrist, ankle, or foot pain you've had for 40 years, lose weight and get fit, improve your balance, address a progressive disease, train for an upcoming event, restore muscular balance in your face, recover from surgery or prevent surgery, or simply have more energy every day to do what you need to do - I am here to guide you. And if I ever notice that my services are not what will help you best, I assure you that I will direct you in the right place to receive the help you need. That is my promise to you. Your health is my priority.
Your pain might be mild and nagging, or more serious, but it never seems to go away. Maybe you think it will never go away. Maybe you have given up on it. The good news is you don't have to live in pain. See what's possible for you and your health today. Get freedom from your pain, so you don't have that nagging annoyance stopping you from your busy life.
